  • Dr Rachel Dalsanto
    Principal Veterinarian

    Rachel graduated from Melbourne University in 1993. She has been a principal here at the hospital since 1999. Rachel has completed her certificate in practice management and also completed her Masters in Veterinary medicine and surgery. Rachel’s special interests include radiology and medicine. Outside of work, Rachel loves spending time with her husband Neil and two daughters Stephanie and Hannah.

  • Dr Nick Hunton

    Nick joined our team in April 2008. Nick graduated from Melbourne University in 1993. He has worked in two busy small animal practices in Melbourne for extended lengths of time before starting here with us. He has a keen interest in small animal surgery.

    Outside of work, Nick enjoys spending time with his family and two daughters, Abby & Maddie. In his spare time Nick loves listening to music and more importantly continuing his obsession with golf.


  • Dr Simmone Major
    Principal Veterinarian

    Simmone joined our team in July 2014. Originally from Tasmania, Simmone studied veterinary medicine at Murdoch University, graduating in 1996. After a short time practising in Tasmania as a new graduate, she moved to Melbourne with her husband. Simmone has a passion for internal medicine and loves increasing her knowledge. Most recently she attended a cardiac conference and undertook a CPR training course.

    She has 2 children and a cheeky Russian Blue named Pog. She would love to find a canine companion to complete her family having recently lost her beloved Dobermann Delphi.

    In her spare time, Simmone enjoys bike riding with her family and cheering on the Sydney Swans.

  • Dr Holly Kang

    Holly graduated from the University of Edinburgh with a degree in veterinary medicine before making the move to Australia in 2010. She has since been working in busy small animal practices and emergency centres and joined us in 2015. She has undertaken further examinations and has gained qualification in veterinary emergency and critical care with the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists.

    Holly enjoys working up a variety of cases and is currently undertaking further qualification in veterinary ultrasonography.

    She has 2 cats and a greyhound who are happily addicted to food, sunny spots and cuddles on demand. In her spare time she enjoys traveling and outdoor activities.
